Activity of the Week – Verb Draw

This is a literacy activity that allows students to learn about verbs!

What you will need:

  • A box
  • A piece of paper
  • Scissors
  • A pencil

How to play:

  1. Cut the piece of paper into smaller squares to write on. On each small piece of paper, write a person, an animal, or an object.
  1. Put all your words into a box (or use a hat).
  1. Ask the student to pick one out of the box and list the verbs associated with this person, animal, or thing.
  1. Other students in the room will try to guess what is on the paper and the player with the most correct guesses win!
